I am honored and excited to continue serving the Eagle Lake Elementary community as your principal. I love being part of Mankato Area Public Schools and look forward to partnering with the incredible staff, awesome students, and supportive families that make Eagle Lake such a special place.

Professional Background Originally from St. Louis, Missouri, I moved to Minnesota to attend Bethel University, earning my degree in Elementary Education. Over my career, I taught 5th and 6th grade, earned my Master’s degree and Principal License from Saint Mary’s University, and spent seven years in middle school administration before joining MAPS as an elementary principal in 2014.

Outside of School When I’m not at school, I enjoy being outdoors, watching sports, and spending time with my family. My wife, Kim, taught elementary PE for nearly 20 years. We have two daughters: Chloe, who plays lacrosse and sings at Concordia University, St. Paul, and Elsie, who keeps busy balancing high school, sports, work, and friends.
