Principal

I am very excited and honored to be the new principal at Eagle Lake Elementary School. I am looking forward to building strong relationships with students, families, and caregivers at Eagle Lake. I bring a perspective and passion that supports all students learning and make sure everyone feels valued in their education.

This will be my first year as the principal at Eagle Lake Elementary.  This is my 8th year as an administrator in District 77.  I spent 3 years at Mankato West High School and 4 years at Central High School.  I have also spent time in Lake Crystal Welcome Memorial, where I was a principal for two years.  I grew up in western Minnesota and attended Minnesota State University, Mankato where I received my teaching degree, Master's degree in Education, and Specialist degree.  

My wife's name is Kate and we have two children, Rylie and Jack, who will be juniors at East High School this coming school year.  We are highly invested in the great community of Mankato Area Public Schools and are committed to the excellence of the East Side Mankato Schools.
